The Arab Asset, Facility and Manintenance Managment Council was established in June 2004 during the Third International Conference on Operations and Maintenance in Arab Countries. Its establishment was inspired by the aspirations and recommendations of the conference participants, who recognized the need for an independent Arab non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the operations and maintenance sector across the region.

The Council was created to provide a structured regional platform for developing, promoting, and harmonizing professional standards, best practices, guidelines, and procedures related to asset, facility, and maintenance management in Arab countries.

Today, the Council is recognized as one of the fastest-growing professional organizations in the asset, facility, and maintenance management sector in the Arab world. It works to elevate regional standards and professional practices to internationally recognized levels, while supporting the development of a more efficient, sustainable, and innovative sector.

The Council brings together a diverse network of professionals, specialists, academics, experts, organizations, and industry stakeholders from across the Arab region. It provides a collaborative platform for advancing scientific and professional knowledge, facilitating the transfer of technology and management expertise, and sharing experiences, innovative solutions, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

The Council’s activities include organizing international conferences, scientific and professional meetings, seminars, and specialized workshops; strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors; promoting recognized standards and best practices; delivering professional training and certification programs; supporting scientific research and publications; and providing specialized advisory and consultancy services.
